Simulation of Ground-Water Flow and Delineation of Areas Contributing Recharge to Municipal Water-Supply Wells, Muscatine, Iowa
The purpose of this report is to describe the methods used to delineate areas contributing recharge to municipal water-supply wells in Muscatine, Iowa, and to present the results of those delineations for 1998 pumping conditions. The steady-state ground-water flow model constructed by Lucey and others (1995) was modified to discretize the three model layers into 200-ft by 200ft cells.
