Topeka Area Planning Study: Community Facilities and Open Space
Existing community facilities (schools, libraries, health facilities, police and fire stations, airports, and public buildings) were inventoried to determine location, size, and equipment available at each. Open spaces were also inventoried to determine location, type, and equipment available. Six types of open spaces were identified: regional park, community park, neighborhood recreation area, children's play area, parkway, and green area. (Author)
