International Barrier Corporation's IBC Mark-7 Highway Barrier System
The objective of the research project was to evaluate the in-service performance of International Barrier Corporation's IBC Mark-7 Highway Barrier System and compare the results to the performance associated with the Department's standard concrete median barrier. In addition, the initial installation costs of the IBC Mark-7 Highway Barrier system and any relative maintenance repair costs were investigated for comparison with the installation and the maintenance costs for the Department's standard concrete median barrier.
