A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Data from Bridge Inventory Statistics, Foundation Management Review and field survey conducted at State, Divisional and Regional offices are utilized to identify bridge foundation types used in different regions of the country and the performance history of different foundation ttypes. Predictions of future bridge construction and rehabilitation activities in the various States of the country are attempted, based upon the above data. Recommendations for future research in the area of Bridge Foundations are made.
