The study is an analysis of the Raleigh housing market with particular emphasis on the low to moderate income portions. The analysis begins with a population projection and from this a household figure is derived. The objective is to determine the discrepancy between housing need, as forecast in 1980, and existing housing supply, based on 1970 census data.
