Delamination of Densified Veneer Wood: Beech, Poplar and Maritime Pine Forest Project. Part 3
Lignostone panels can be used for local reinforcement of timber joints. For use in timber structures where glue is used to connect pieces of timber a test method has been developed to test the integrity of the glueline. When densified veneer wood (dvw) is glued to structural timber it is likely to assume that this glued connection should satisfy the same requirements. This was investigated and reported by Jansen (Durability of the glued connection between wood and the densified veneer Lignostone; 25-88-101/14-LV-7). This report now focuses on the integrity of the individual plies of densified veneer wood, undergoing the same delamination test.
