The purpose of this report is to promote the preservation and protection of historic buildings, facilities, places and areas located within the Roswell planning area. This report contains a history of Roswell from its earliest beginnings to the present, an identification of existing historic buildings and other historic features, and recommendations pertaining to the preservation and development of Roswell's historic assets. Various federal and state programs which provide financial assistance for historic preservation are identified and discussed.
