Annual Evaluation of the Idaho Highway Safety Plan FFY 2010
The Idaho Transportation Department(ITD) is the recipient agency for federal highway safety grant funds. As the administering agency, the Office of Highway Safety(OHS), within the Division of Highways, develops and implements projects and prorams to reduce deaths, serious injuries, and economic losses resulting from motor vehicle crashes. These programs address driver behavior. The purpose of the program is to provide grant funding at the state and community level for highway safety programs that address Idaho's highway safety issues as identified in the Highway Safety Plan as well as the Strategic Highway Safety Plan.
