Alternate Resurfacing Strategies. Volume 2. Final Report. Appendices A - H
Alternative resurfacing strategies were reviewed. Conventional materials, Portland Cement Concrete and asphalt concrete w ere selected by the sponsor as the most appropriate current material technology for the research. A project level pavement resurfacing design system developed at the University of Texas was modified to include flexible pavement analysis. The model uses mechanistic analysis to estimate the life of resurfacing strategies.
