Curved Girder Computer Manual
This report presents three computer programs based on analytical techniques of the slope deflection Fourier Series previously developed under this HP and R study. The COBRA (Curved Orthotropic Bridge Analysis) slope deflection computer programs can be used to analyze a statically loaded curved bridge structure. Girder deflections, rotations, and internal forces are determined by each of the three basic programs. A stress or strain subroutine may be included to compute stresses and strains throughout the structure. Composite or noncomposite girder-slab action may be specified. Any number of concentrated loads may be applied, referenced to any radius and angle of the bridge coordinates. A uniformly distributed load may be superimposed over the concentrated loading if desired. (BPR abstract)
