St. Louis Area Land Use and Transportation Planning Program. Existing Transit Service
The report is a description of the existing transit system as compared with nationally accepted transit standards. It attempts to evaluate the quality of transit service provided presently in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area, and to explore the question of the need for and/or desirability of developing higher transit standards for the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. It also discusses briefly the past history of transit and the implications that it may have for the future. (Author)
