Assessment of Regional Office and National Health Service Corps Site Practices Regarding Site Reimbursement for National Health Service Corps Personnel
The purpose of the study was to provide information to Bureau of Health Care Delivery and Assistance (BHCDA) to review and, if appropriate, revise its reimbursement obligation debt collection and debt management policies and procedures at the Central and Regional Office levels and to improve the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site patient fee collection rates in order to improve the rates and levels of reimbursement for NHSC assignee support costs. Site visits were conducted at 14 NHSC study sites. This report contains detailed descriptions of the study design and methodology, findings and recommendations.
