    Correlation of the Alabama Roughometer Roughness Index with Present Serviceability

    New search for: F. Holman

    Several pavements in Alabama, concrete and bituminous, were tested for roughness with the Alabama roughometer, present serviceability index by CHLOE, and present serviceability rating by a selected panel of five persons. Several regression analyses were performed to relate roughness to present serviceability for both the concrete and bituminous pavements. Recommendations concerning the determination of present serviceability from roughness measurements are offered.
