Application of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry to the Analysis of Molybdenum in High-Alloy Steels
A method is described of an analysis for molybdenum from 2-10 percent in high-alloy steels in which aqueous standards are used. Sample dissolution, standard preparation, and instrument parameters are described. Determinations of molybdenum in National Bureau of Standard samples by this method yielded acceptable results.
