Anisotropic Acoustic Emission Behavior of HSLA Steels
This paper describes acoustic emission behavior of C-Mn steels during tensile tests. Non-metallic inclusions were found to be the primary source of burst-type emission, whereas pearlite shearing was the major origin of continuous-type emission. (Author)
