National Dam Safety Program. Curved Dam-Lock 7 (Inventory Number NY 398). Oswego River Basin, Oswego County, New York. Phase I Inspection Report
Examination of available documents and a visual inspection of the dam did not reveal conditions which constitute an immediate hazard to human life or property. After the aforementioned investigations, the remaining deficiencies requiring remedial work should be completed within the next construction season. The following improvement needs have been identified: a. Repair seepage and leaks through and beneath the dam. b. Repair the masonry in the east abutment wall. Align the masonry units and replace the missing masonry unit. c. Repair the boil located in a land area along the riverside wall of the navigation channel.
