A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Precipitation-Frequency Atlas of the Western United States. Volume II. Wyoming
The atlas presents precipitation-frequency maps and information designed to help engineers plan and build flood control structures to provide maximum protection at the least cost. It tells the engineer how often specific amounts of precipitation will be equaled or exceeded within a given drainage area and enables him to design dams, canals, drainage systems, highway drainage culverts, and other structures used either to contain excessive water or to drain unwanted accumulations of water. Covering 11 Western States, the atlas provides the latest information on the subject in much greater detail than was previously available.
