The report presents experimental data from the first anticipated transient experiment (Experiment L6-5) conducted in the Loss-of-Fluid Test (LOFT) facility. The data are uninterpreted but readily usable for the nuclear community in advance of detailed analysis and interpretation Experiment L6-5 was a loss of secondary feed-water anticipated transient, and was performed on May 29, 1980, as part of the LOFT Experimental Program conducted by EG&G Idaho, Inc., for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. This experiment is part of the LOFT Non-LOCE Test Series 16 which was designed to provide data for investigating the thermal-hydraulic response of the LOFT reactor system for transient initiation to plant restabilization after reactor scram.
