Policies for the Use of Land in the Northwest Missouri Region
In order to undertake a major planning effort such as land use planning, adequate preparatory planning phases need to occur, to serve as a guide to the planning effort. The purpose of this report is to outline the planning requirements as well as briefly inventory existing land use conditions within the Northwest Missouri Region. Furthermore, policies for the use of land in the region, were developed to serve as a guide toward the development of a comprehensive land use plan. These policies are to serve as interim guides and be revised as a result of the information obtained throughout the planning process.
