The study is concerned with the existing situation of housing opportunities available to low and moderate income families in Stanford. The study seeks to identify the major problems and deficiencies of housing and suitable living environment for every family. To understand and identify housing problems an awareness of the obstacles that exist to perpetuate these problems is also discussed. Based upon existing problems and obstacles objectives were formulated. It is assumed that these objectives once implemented will lead to the elimination of substandard housing as well as the availability of additional housing units for low and moderate income families.
