Johnson City, Tennessee: Neighborhood Analysis
The study analyses in detail the quality of living conditions in the Johnson City planning region in order to establish a sound basis for planning healthy neighborhoods containing decent homes and suitable living environment. The region is delineated into 34 planning subareas termed neighborhoods. In each of these areas, three objectives are pursued: the extent of deterioration, the causes of deterioration and measures needed to correct and improve conditions detrimental to neighborhoods. Four programs of community improvement are established with the intent of preserving the good and improving the poor conditions in neighborhoods.
