Arizona's Pavement Management System. Phase II: Analysis of Testing Frequency for Pavement Evaluation
A Pavement Management System (PMS) is highly dependent on the quantity and quality of data. This report addresses the frequency of inventory tests (deflection, rutting, cracking, flushing) necessary to insure appropriately sufficient quality of data. A designed experiment consisting of the above field tests were conducted at 76 two-mile locations, where 10 tests per mile (at .1 of a mile) were conducted.
