City of Hanford General Plan Program. Task 11-6, Community Design and Conservation
The report takes a look at some of the physical assets and liabilities of the community through the eye of the camera with the objective of providing constructive analysis of community design and appearance. The camera has been trained upon community entrances, buildings of historic significance, billboards and signs, railroads, streets, homes, commercial and industrial structures, public buildings and grounds, recreation areas, parking lots, open space and utilities. A series of photographs present a visual analysis of some of the more obvious characteristics of urban development which add to or detract from overall community design and appearance. (Author)
