The report presents an analysis of the existing housing stock in the Missouri portion of the Kansas City SMSA in terms of quality and quantity. Total housing starts and housing starts for low and moderate income families are projected for the area. The adequacy and distribution of new housing starts is discussed relative to need and recommendations are made for increasing the flow of new low and moderate income housing. (Author)
