Standard Specification: Building and Civil Engineering Minor Works

The PSA Standard Specification for Building and Civil Engineering Minor Works contains specification clauses in 'Common Arrangement' order generally applicable to minor works projects. It must be supplemented by a Project Particular Specification covering requirements not included in the Standard Specification and amplifying those clauses containing alternatives or those which refer to a particular specification which are applicable to the project. These clauses are asterisked to indicate they must be read in conjunction with the Particular Specification. Asterisked clauses not included in the Project Particular Specification are not applicable to the project. Guidance as to the appropriate Conditions of Contract and Standard Preliminaries for use in conjunction with the Specification is given in 'Guide to Specification of Building and Civil Engineering Minor Works'. Variation of Standard Preliminaries and additional Preliminary items necessary to suit individual site conditions should form part of the Particular Specification. An expendable particular specification is available which contains editable Preliminaries and worksections together with guidance notes for specifiers.
