The proposed action involves the acquisition, clearance, moving, rehabilitated or restoration of properties which are to be acquired that have historic or an architectural significance. A summary of environmental impact and adverse environmental effect include: The demolition of structures within the project area that are on the National Register of Historic places; increased traffic counts on Memorial Boulevard and America's Cup Avenue; change in character of Thames Street; and, noise and construction wastes during clearance and rehabilitation of structures.
