Nordic Concrete Federation Mini-seminar 'Moisture measurement in concrete constructions exposed to temperature and moisture variations' took place in Finland at Otaniemi, Espoo, August 22, 1997. The mini-seminar was organized by Technical Research Center of Finland (VTT). The main purpose of this mini-seminar was to discuss the benefits and weaknesses of measurement methods and to exchange experience of their utilization. The mini-seminar gathered 24 concrete experts from three countries to delve into moisture measurement of concrete through presentations of papers and discussions include also the phenomena of self-desiccation and moisture measurement in high performance concrete and a presentation of a moisture sensor.
