The Santa Fe Trail Association (SFTA), in partnership with the National Trails System-Intermountain Region of the National Park Service (NPS), developed this Strategic Plan to chart a course for future protection and interpretation of the Santa Fe National Historic Trail (NHT). This Strategic Plan addresses purpose and vision, visitor experience goals, a range of recommended actions, and future steps to be taken to implement the plan.
