A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The report is part of a project at the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, and presents an analysis of travel behavior in the cities of Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim based on data from five travel surveys. For the first time in national travel surveys, the origin and destinations are geocoded, thus giving a new range of research possibilities. A large number of interviews make it possible to produce travel behavior maps that can unveil challenges in the urban transport planning.
