A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
After a brief review of the situation of existing cryogenic wind tunnels, the thermal balance of five wind tunnels is discussed. This discussion of the thermal balance is then generalized to suggest guidelines for the designers of future cryogenic wind tunnels. Finally, with the same concern, unconventional schemes are examined.
