Simulating Timber Yields and Hydrologic Impacts Resulting from Timber Harvest on Subalpine Watersheds
A dynamic simulation model determines the hydrologic changes resulting from timber harvesting, and correlary models simulate timber yields. Emphasis is placed on the 'planning unit' which is defined by environmental characteristics, including combinations of slope, aspect, elevation, and forest cover.
