The Swedish Council for Building Research is the central agency in Sweden for the promotion, programming and financing of research into building and urban planning. This publication lists building research projects in progress in December 1978, including those of the National Swedish Institute for Building Research. Recently terminated projects are also included. In addition to the project title, researcher and affiliation, the total grant awarded is also given. The following are the main topic areas of research: Energy conservation in buildings; R&D on urban and regional planning with particular reference to local authority planning; R&D on the planning, construction and management of the built environment; Basic R&D.
