Analyses of Natural Gases, 1917-October 2008 (Raw Data Only) (on CD-ROM)
This CD-ROM contains routine analyses and related source data for 17,167 natural gas samples. These samples were collected as a part of a continuous survey of the free world for occurrences of helium. This survey was conducted in the United States by the Bureau of Mines from 1917 until 1996. At that time, this duty was given to the Bureau of Land Management. In late 1965, the study was expanded to include foreign gas fields. Samples released for publication have been published in a series of bulletins, information circulars, and Technical Notes. This product contains all samples released for publication through October 2, 2008. There is one record for each sample analysis.
