A Fire Training Simulator
This report describes the design, construction, operation, training procedures and practical application of the fire training simulator. The fire simulator is a light projection system using a two-stage overhead projector in combination with a 35mm slide projector, which produces the illusion of fire and smoke. The operator has complete control to extend the fire, involve different exposures or create explosions. As the fire company responds to the simulated fire situation and makes the proper decision for fire fighting, the operator can give the appearance that the fire is going out.
