Third World Urban Housing: Aspirations, Resources, Programmes, Projects
It has been found that by the turn of the century the population of the developing countries will have doubled. About half this population, more than 3000 million people, will be living in poor rural housing. This report covers the whole range of problems encountered from devising a housing strategy to planning and implementing projects on the ground. It should prove useful not only to politicians and administrators in third world countries, but also to the architect, engineer or social worker in the field.
