Ventilerad Platta pa Mark: Resultat fran Maetningar pa Nyproducerad STM-Klimatgrund (Ventilated Ground Construction)
The report evaluates a new ground construction with a balanced ventilation underneath. The air flow takes place in a layer of light weight expanded clay sized to a polystyrene foam insulation (600 mm x 1200 mm). On top of this element the concrete slab is founded. The results of the measurements show that the concrete slab will dry out much quicker than in an ordinary construction. The moisture rate in the concrete slab will also be so low that the risk for mold growth or other moisture damage is very small.
