Simple Graphical Procedure to Estimate the Minimum Time to Evacuate a Building
When a building has several different evacuation routes, the relative numbers of people using the routes can affect the time to evacuate the building. A simple graphical procedure is presented which determines the number of people to use each route if the building is to be evacuated in minimum time. The procedure also determines the minimum building evacuation time.
