For purposes of this analysis, the HMA is divided into two submarkets: the East Baton Rouge Parish submarket, which includes the state capital city of Baton Rouge, and the Remainder submarket, which consists of Ascension, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana Parishes.
