The project consists of upgrading State Road 105 (Heckscher Drive) in Jacksonville, Florida, from a rural two-lane facility into a modern municipal multi-lane urban facility. The project generally follows the existing alignment beginning at the intersection of State Road 105 and State Road 5 (US 17) and extends in an easterly direction to a terminus on Blout Island. Three alternate bridge locations are evaluated. Environmental impacts are discussed.
