Silos: Structural Analysis. 1970-June, 1983 (Citations from the Engineering Index Data Base)
This bibliography contains citations concerning the silo stress-strain relationship to silo structural analysis, material being stored, feeding and discharge operation, and settlement performance. Among the factors discussed relative to structural analysis are foundation material and design, wall joint strength, thin wall design, reinforced concrete wall design, ferrocement construction, steel wall construction, foundation settlement and tension hoop utilization. Such materials as grain; sugar; coal; corn; fertilizer; and powdered substances, like cement are considered for their dilatancy upon unloading relative to the stress-strain analysis. (This updated bibliography contains 128 citations, 13 of which are new entries to the previous edition.)
