The 8 papers in this report deal with the following areas: operating characteristics and user satisfaction of commercially available NDT equipment; use of nondestructive testing in the design of overlays for flexible pavements; comparison of falling weight deflectometer with other deflection testing devices; asphalt concrete overlay design procedure for Portland cement concrete pavements; project-level structural evaluation of pavements based on dynamic deflections; pavement elastic characteristics measured by means of tests conducted with the falling weight deflectometer; influence of relative rigidity on the problem of reflection cracking; and, suitability of using the falling weight deflectometer in determining deteriorated areas in jointed rigid pavements.
