Brand i Takventilerad Lokal (Fire in a Roof-Ventilated Room)
By experiments was studied, fire in a large, topventilated room (6 x 6 x 6 m). The main purpose of the investigation was to get experimental data for testing future computer models. Other purposes were to investigate the relationship burning rate F - O sub 2 conc. and the fire environment concerning temperature and CO. 5 experiments were done, with various combinations of fuel weight (25,100 kg wood) and ventilationarea (1,2,4 m2). All results of F, O2 and CO are presented - but for the temperature only some representative examples of the variation with height and some values of the gas temperature in the roof opening. Some numerical results to notify were O sub 2 (min. 14%) and CO (max 1 0/00).
