A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Composite Pavement Systems: A SHRP 2 Renewal Project Brief
Composite Pavement Systems investigated the design and construction of new composite pavement systems that could provide longer-lasting facilities with lower life-cycle costs. While composite pavements have been in use for many years, in almost all cases they are not designed as composite pavements initially but become composite pavements through maintenance overlays. This project developed design and construction methods for new composite pavements.
