A Comprehensive Master Plan, Town and Village of Lewiston, Niagara County, New York. Volume 3: Comprehensive Plan
The report includes the third phase of Lewiston's planning program: The Comprehensive Plan. This report and plan assimilates the data prepared in Volumes 1 and 2 and makes a series of recommendations in the form of four specific plans. The Land Use Plan describes the recommended distribution of various land uses, and the desired characteristics of the future land use pattern in the Town and Village. The Circulation Plan proposes improvements for existing streets as well as construction of new facilities. These recommendations are based upon and are intended to serve the proposals of the Land Use Plan. The Community Facilities Plan recommends the necessary public or private facilities to serve the anticipated needs and desires of the projected population. The Financial Plan analyzes sources of revenue and finances for the municipalities. (Author)
