Energy-Economical Importance of Massiveness in Buildings. Intermediary Report
The report is a literary study and an analysis of the energy-economical importance of massiveness in traditionally built constructions in Finnish circumstances, based on the earlier published literature of massiveness in buildings. Estimations are made about the effect of massiveness on the consumption of heating and cooling energy, required heating and cooling power and the needed k-value in outer walls. Descriptions are also made of the behaviour of different buildings when heating is interrupted. (ERA citation 09:016765)
