The Proposed South Crosstown Expressway Project Including Dual Fixed Bridges and Approaches Across the Hillsborough River in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida
Approval is sought of the location and plans for dual fixed highway bridges and approaches across the Hillsborough River part of the South Crosstown Expressway in Tampa, Florida. The project will provide a needed transportation corridor between Tampa's central business district and the Interbay area. Implementation of this bridge project will require the taking of 184 homes, 63 businesses and 40 trailer dwelling sites. Land piers will encroach upon a public park. The project will also take land from two other public parks.
