URL Survey System (Systeme Informatise d'Etablissement de Leves du LRS)
The Underground Research Laboratory (URL) Survey System is comprised of a SIR relational database and Xeagle 3-D modelling system programs. A SIR Electronic data entry form and Procedural Query Language programs store and retrieve geographic survey information of the underground excavations at the URL. Xeagle programs create 3-D models from the survey data. As-built plans and sections of the excavations at the URL are created from the 3-D models. This report describes how to use the software to store and retrieve the information and to create 3-D models of the excavations.
