The study is concerned with the investigation and establishment of planning, design, and construction techniques to assure the satisfactory operation of EEG equipment in Veterans Administration hospital facilities for the present and for longer range periods of time. Considerations include EEG shielding needs, measurement and testing procedures, details of alternative shielding construction, estimates of cost for alternative shielding constructions, summary of investigation on two EEG shielding installations and recommendations for EEG shielding in areas of Veterans Administration hospitals.
