A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The 1972 annual report of the Tri-State Regional Planning Commission briefly outlines important month-by-month activities in the New York City metropolitan area. In addition, measurements of change and growth for the years 1960 thru 1971 are given for such regional indices as employment, population, personal income, housing starts, movement of freight in tonnage, among others. A growing planning partnership among the federal, state and local governments in the areas of highways, mass transit, housing, sewerage, and water supply is discussed.
