Portland Cement Concrete Pavement Evaluation System (COPES)
The report contains a documentation of the concrete pavement evaluation system (COPES) and a description of state and national demonstrations. The computerized system is capable of efficiently collecting, storing, retrieving and evaluating large amounts of pavement data to improve the design, construction, materials, and maintenance of concrete pavements. The COPES data bank also provides data for the development of predictive distress and serviceability models that can be used for pavement management purposes. The COPES data bank was designed to accomodate jointed plain, jointed reinforced, and continuously reinforced concrete pavement data.
